Competitions Committee Registration - ALSA Conference 2026

The Australian Law Students' Association (ALSA) is a national not-for-profit association comprising all Law Student Societies and Law Student Associations, representing approximately 40,000 law students.

ALSA's 2026 Conference will be held in Adelaide, South Australia. The Conference will take place from Friday 10 July to Thursday 16 July.

The ALSA Conference is the major ALSA event of the year. It is an opportunity for delegates from law schools across the country and our region to come together and compete, share knowledge, and building lasting professional and personal friendships for the rest of their degree and the beginning of their career.

We are seeking students available to assist in co-ordination each of the competitions.

We will seeking two of each:

  • Championship Moot Coordinator
  • IHL Moot Coordinator
  • Negotiations Coordinator
  • Witness Examination Coordinator
  • Client Interview Coordinator
  • Paper Presentation Coordinator

All students will be supported by the President and Conference Convenor, as well as the entire ALSA Committee.

Key tasks will include:

  • Assisting the Conference Convenor and President to coordinate judges;
  • Distributing competition problem materials to judges and competitors;
  • Responding to inquiries or concerns from judges and competitors;
  • Delivering opening remarks at the Grand Final;
  • Compiling and recording scores;
  • Assisting with registration on the day and directing students to the appropriate rooms; and
  • Undertaking any other tasks as requested by the President or Conference Convenor.

Students' must be available for the entirety of the Competition from the 11th - 16th of July at Adelaide University.
