UNSW Private Law Moot

The UNSW Private Law Moot is one of Australia’s premier international mooting competitions, bringing together leading law students from across Australia and around the world to engage with complex issues in commercial and private law. Hosted annually by the UNSW Law Society, the competition challenges competitors to demonstrate exceptional advocacy, analytical reasoning, and doctrinal precision across areas such as contract law, equity, torts, corporations law, and restitution. Renowned for the sophistication of its problem questions and the calibre of its participants and judges, the Moot has established itself as a hallmark of excellence within the global mooting community.

The Australian Law Students’ Association is proud to support the UNSW Private Law Moot and its ongoing contribution to fostering advocacy, professionalism, and legal scholarship among the next generation of lawyers.
