Convenor's Welcome

My name is David Stiles and I am the 2018 Conference Convener. I would like to extend a warm welcome the delegates competitors and our international guests to the beautiful city of Adelaide.

Once you meet me at the Conference I will have completed my Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice (Hons) with Flinders University. I am a Griffith University Alumni after completing my first degree externally.

While I have chosen to keep the format of the Conference like previous years, I have spent the last 18 months building a conference based on your input and feedback. This year’s conference will have an Adelaide spin, and you will be able to experience some of the iconic features of Adelaide.

I welcome you to direct any questions to either the ALSA Committee, or the Conference sub-committee. We have all worked hard to make this conference special, and we are here to assist with any inquiries.

I can’t wait to meet you all in Adelaide on 2 July 2018.
